Hi everyone,
We arrived safe and sound around 1pm. Once we had found our dormitories, unpacked and made our beds we had lunch. Delicious! The weather is absolutely glorious and we wasted no time in meeting our instructors and staring our activities. Mrs Clark's group took the mini bus to Friars Cragg and walked/scrambled up to the top of Castle Head.... What a view! We could see right across Derwent Water. Mrs Norton's group also went for a walk up to Castle Head but we didn't cross paths.
Then it was back to the centre for a little free time and then tea..... Which we are currently waiting for. Yorkshire Puddings on the menu tonight. Mrs Clark's favourite! Tonight we are looking forward to some team building activities. We hope you're not missing us too much because we're having a fantastic time. We will post photos tomorrow!
Lots of love Year 5, Mrs Clark, Mrs Norton and Mr Turnbull
